IMPORTS
When we receive the documents of the commodities to be imported from abroad, the entry / import transactions commence under regular conditions.
(Normal Declarations or Sousplan/On-vehicle procedures)
The transactions which we undertake to carry out in terms of follow up and completion:
- To execute / have the bill of lading endorsements, if any, made following the receipt of the commodities and documents to be imported from abroad.
- Receiving Delivery Orders/Stickers from the shipping agencies.
- Determining the customs tariff statistics positions.
- Obtaining preliminary permits, if any, of the commodities as required by the relevant legislation.
- Making declarations and inspecting the commodity after all documents are completed.
- Notifying/Informing the company if there are shortages/deficiencies, damages or mistakes regarding the commodity.
- Computing Taxes and Duties subject to the import regime, Blocking Taxes and Duties or depositing cash, depositing Taxes and Duties by way of having their accruals executed. (To perform the actual import.)
- To ensure that the commodity is shipped to the company's desired location and delivered to the authorities.
- To settle/resolve provisionally deposited or deferred taxes on the date of importing.
